Sea Sessions was founded in 2008 and has grown from strength to strength in Bundoran over the years.
One of Ireland's biggest music festivals, Sea Sessions, has made the decision to reschedule to 2022 following the Government's announcements on the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
With chart-topping Irish band Kodaline already confirmed as the first headliners for Sea Sessions 2022, organisers are planning the biggest edition of the beach party festival yet.
“Due to the current restrictions we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule Sea Sessions 2021 to 2022. We can’t deny it’s been a tough 14 months or so but we’re feeling really positive about next summer and we’re delighted that Kodaline are on board," Festival Director Ray O’Donoghue says.
"There’s the possibility of a few treats in the meantime and more to be revealed on that but we know this much, Sea Sessions 2022 will be back, bigger and better than ever! It will be 3 years since the last festival so we’re planning a huge comeback. We’ve already a few big names lined up and we’ve no doubt that 2022 will sell out.”
The last seven versions of the festival event have sold out well in advance. With such pent up demand, 2022 should be no different.
The entire party takes place right on the beach in Bundoran, Donegal and has hosted some of the biggest international acts on the circuit, including the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Bastille, Dermot Kennedy, Tinie Tempah, Paul Weller, Clean Bandit and Picture This to name but a few.

Alongside music, there’s also Ireland's biggest surf competition, skating, BMX, street art, beach sports and much more packed into three full days of enjoyment by the stunning Donegal seascape.
The promoters are offering all ticket holders a €30 voucher if they hold on their 2020 or 2021 Tickets.
2022 Early Bird Tickets are already on sale from all Ticketmaster outlets, riced from €119.90 for 3 days or €149.90 to include up to 4 nights camping. There’s also a Surfers Bar (VIP) Upgrade available from €60.
