For the record release show, the trad polymath will be joined by very special guests, including R.F. Chaney.
Dublin session musician and accordion maestro Seamas Hyland has announced that his debut solo album Maidin Domhnaigh is set to release on 13th May. The record will be available to pre-order purchase on Bandcamp - on vinyl, digital and CD formats.
Seamas has also announced an album launch gig in Whelan’s Upstairs to celebrate the release on 13th June. He will be joined onstage by longtime collaborator R.F. Chaney, who is featured on three tracks off Maidin Domhnaigh, with several surprise musical guests taking part in the celebrations.

Maidin Domhnaigh has been in the works for a long time for the trad polymath, who dazzles in other projects such as the banjo & box accordion duo Paaahto & Seamas and collaborations with John Francis Flynn, Isadora Epstein and Acid Granny.

The album was recorded and mixed by Kú, with mastering from GRAMMY award-winning engineer Ben Rawlins. The artwork for Maidin Domhnaigh was designed by graphic designer Stina Sandstrom and features a clay head made by Seamas himself.
