The festival has added a range of 30 plus hip hop acts to their lineup which also includes groups such as The Cure and Greta Van Fleet.
Twice voted the best European Music Festival over the last five years, EXIT, held at the historic Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, features an immensely diverse range of artists from all around the world, working in a variety of genres. Recent additions to the lineup have brought exciting hip-hop offerings to the festival, led by legendary UK rapper Skepta. Known for popularizing grime and UK hip hop around the world, he has won the praise of artists including Mick Jagger, Pharrell Williams and Drake who even has a tattoo of Skepta's record label 'Boy Better Know'.
Other additions include Manchester's IAMDDB, maker of jazz-trap bangers 'Shade' and 'Drippy', and American trap star Desiigner. Upcoming artist IAMDD has proved she is one to watch out for, placing third on the BBC's "Sound of 2018" list and making Forbes 2019 "30 under 30" list. Desiigner is known for his viral sensation 'Panda', as well as many more hit tracks released from Kanye West's label G.O.O.D. music such as 'Timmy Turner' and 'Liife'. They will be joined by a large number of hip-hop artists from the region on the Addiko Fusion stage, including Serbian rap queen Sajsi MC and beloved trio Bad Copy, on top of many more.
