Tickets for the highly anticipated Waterford show are on sale now.
Second Year students from South East Technological University (SETU)'s B.A. in Music are set to welcome The Scratch to Waterford next month – with the class, alongside some Business students, organising a special gig in Garter Lane, on Wednesday, November 16.
The show promises to be a special experience for fans of the lauded Irish band, offering a chance to catch the The Scratch in a much more intimate venue than some of the other stops on their upcoming Irish and UK winter tour.
Other Irish dates on The Scratch's tour include Cyprus Avenue in Cork (November 5); 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin (12); Limelight 1, Belfast (18); Seán Ógs, Donegal (19); Black Box, Galway (26); Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick (December 2); and Ruby Room, Castlebar (3).
The band will be supported in Waterford by SETU Guitar Ensemble, who'll be kicking off proceedings at 8pm. The Scratch will then take to the stage at 8.45pm.

In recent years, The Scratch have emerged as one of the country's most thrilling acts – both in a live setting and across their acclaimed discography. Their first album, 2020's Couldn't Give a Rats, was described by Hot Press as "one of the boldest Irish debuts of recent memory – expanding their sound and vision, while still holding onto the wild impulses that mark The Scratch as one of the country’s most spectacularly original talents." Earlier this year, they returned with a live album, Couldn't Leave Our Gafs, in which the band performed their debut album from start to finish from a secret location in Dublin.
Tickets for The Scratch's gig at Garter Lane in Waterford are €20/€18 concession – and are available here.
