Sex dreams and denim jeans
Raw, sparse, low-key, vocodered hip hop
According to "the internet" the far more successful Ke$sha stole Uffie's shtick. In truth, Uffie's oevre is rawer, sparser and smarter than Ke$sha's tranquilised bubble-gum hip-hop. But although this is fun to listen to, mainly because of Uffie's casual delivery and the slightly wayward synth lines, it's also self-consciously disposable. Not sure I'll have a burning need to hear it a month from now.
