Whether as a pianist, songwriter, vocalist, or fashion designer, SexyTadhg’s artistry takes you on an electrifying journey that defies expectations.
Currently on an 18-date UK tour supporting The Mary Wallopers, SexyTadhg has just revealed their headline show at The Academy in Dublin, set for Friday, November 21st, 2025.
Tickets start from €18.45 and go on sale Wednesday 26th March at 10am via Ticketmaster.
Speaking on the show, SexyTadhg says, "The scale of this production can only be reached in a venue like The Academy. The best venues elevate an artist's performance and allow the audience to be fully immersed in their vision. Dublin is where SexyTadhg's dream was born, and I'm just so excited for the people who've supported me from the beginning to experience the dream in its highest form yet.
“On Friday, Nov 21st, The Academy will be the gayest place in Ireland. Get your drag on, girl, and get down to the ultimate celebration of Irish queer artistry. This is a huge win for the girls, the gays, the queers, and the queens. This is bigger than one performer; this is the Irish queer community rightfully taking its place in the Irish music industry. This is not just a gig; this is history.”
Tadhg's powerful vocals and virtuoso piano playing have captivated audiences across the country, while their big band performances push Irish musicianship to new heights. Drawing comparisons to icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Freddie Mercury, Tadhg blends a majestic stage presence with deeply personal stories that explore gender, sexuality, and mental health.

Having supported two-time Eurovision winner Loreen at her sold-out Academy show, The Mary Wallopers at their sold-out Cork City Hall performance, and taking the iconic Salty Dog stage at Electric Picnic, where they entranced over 600 people at 1 a.m., Tadhg has graced Ireland's most prestigious stages and festivals.
Their appearances include major events like Kaleidoscope (Main Stage), Mother Bloc Party (Main Stage), Other Voices (Dingle), Beyond The Pale, and shows such as The Late Late Show, Six O’Clock Show, and Ray D’Arcy’s Studio One Session. Tadhg has also shared the stage with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and remains committed to the Irish language, performing at Irish-speaking festivals like Lá Mór na Gaeilge.
As a proud Gaeilgeoir, Tadhg infuses their work with a powerful queer perspective, showcasing the beauty of Irish culture through a contemporary lens.
2025 is set to be a huge year for SexyTadhg with new music on the horizon and some very exciting gigs in the pipeline.
