Shake The Dope Out

Timeless rock and roll from the LA septet who caused a stir at this year’s Glastonbury Fest, ‘Shake The Dope Out’ is a relentless wall-of-sound of pounding guitars, hypnotic vocals and heaps of fuck off attitude. Owes a lot to the Velvet Underground and a little to Madchester but I’d lay down money that Hawkwind’s ‘Silver Machine’ is lurking somewhere in the depths of their record collection.
