One of Dublin’s most eclectic electro acts is back - and itching to blaze a trail on stage...
It’s full steam ahead for trio Halves. With a new album, a new live set–up, and their first Dublin show since 2011, they’re ready to tear it up at the Dublin Button Factory on July 13.
The Dublin electronic troupe comprises Brian Cash and brothers Tim and Elis Czerniak. Chatting to She’s Electric Brian says, “As much as we enjoy writing and recording, it’s not a patch on getting out and playing live. We’ve definitely missed it. We have some new visuals and we’ll be debuting songs from our Boa Howl album.” Galway, get your dancing shoes on!
Working with the Galway Fringe Festival, Epoch and Bap To The Future have lined up two–weekends of special events taking place in The Factory from July 12 – 30. Motown-inspired lead single ‘Barriers is out on July 5 on Process Recordings, and has already gained support from house legend Robert Owen.
Berlin’s Kleine Reise Club – also a record label – has snared some Irish talent, releasing Dublin producer Timothy Blake’s Heat Crime EP.
It’s dreamy, it’s jazzy, it’s paranoid, it’s melancholy (sounds like HP production weekend - ed). Something for everybody really! The label is putting out two more releases by Irish producers this year. First up, a solo EP from Peter Power and the second, well, we can’t tell you yet! Rest assured it’s a stomper!
