Money might not buy you love, but it sure as hell can make your smile sparkle. Hip hop icon (and heir to Prince's throne of lunacy) Kanye West has revealed that he has had all of his bottom teeth removed and replaced with diamonds. After posing for pictures sporting what many fans thought was just a grill, West confirmed on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show that he had permanently swapped enamel for an altogether more expensive material.

"I just thought diamonds were cooler," he told Ellen. "It's really my real teeth. I replaced my bottom row of teeth. I guess there's just certain things that rock stars are supposed to do."

The TV appearance was his first since his famous interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

The teeth are believed to be worth over €1million. West's fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is set to be released on November 22 - who knows, if it does well enough he might have enough spare cash to replace the top row.
