Known for his track 'Suge', DaBaby also drew controversy for homophobic comments during his performance.
A shoe was thrown from the crowd at North Carolina rapper DaBaby at Rolling Loud Miami festival last night after the 'Levitating' artist brought out Tory Lanez as a special guest.
The surprise decision to bring out Lanez was controversial, due to him being charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion last year - with Lanez later pleading not guilty in court.
A fan threw a shoe shortly after the guest appearance, with DaBaby responding, "Who the fuck threw that motherfucking busted-ass god damn Adidas?"
He then found the person behind the move, warning them to not "throw no more busted-ass shoes".
The artist best known for tracks such as 'Suge' and 'Rockstar' recently drew ire from Megan Thee Stallion herself because of his relationship with Lanez.

"Support me in private and publicly do something different...these industry men are very strange," she tweeted in June. "This situation ain’t no damn 'beef' and I really wish people would stop down playing it like it’s some internet shit for likes and retweets."
DaBaby also drew further controversy online as fans thought he made homophobic comments during the show.
"If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light up," he said.
"Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone light up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone light up."
He responded to the backlash from his statement, tweeting, “Regardless of what y’all motherfuckers are talking about and how the internet twisted up my motherfucking words, me and all my fans at the show, the gay ones and the straight ones, we turned the fuck up."
Fellow rapper T.I. came to the defence of DaBaby's comments, spreading further homophobic commentary while referencing Lil Nas X's new video for 'Industry Baby'.
