The final concert is set for Friday, October 22nd.
The newly-revived Feakle Folk Club, based in Peppers Bar and Restaurant in the East Clare village of Feakle, will be hosting their fourth and final concert after wild success with 3 completely sold out shows.
Highly-acclaimed musicians Síle Denvir and Barry Kerr will come together as a dynamic duet to deliver a potent combination of tradition and innovation.
Their instrumental music on uilleann pipes, flute, and harp is supported by subtle and innovative motif based arrangements, sending listeners soaring through the emotive and hypnotic to the driving and vivacious.
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, and visual artist Barry Kerr hails from the southern shores of Lough Neagh.
A master of uileann pipes and flute, he has recently been exploring the relationship between musical composition and art, as seen in his latest performances 'CEATHAIR' and 'Continuum'. Barry is the recipient of the prestigious Liam O'Flynn Award 2020.
Brought up and influenced by the Connemara Gaeltacht, harpist and sean-nós singer Síle Denvir was surrounded by music from an early age.
