Tickets go on sale later this week
As part of their biggest tour since 1985, Simple Minds are set to play the 3Arena in Dublin on March 18, 2024.
Following the success of the band's 40 Years Of Hits Tour in 2022, they have now added a UK and Ireland leg to their Global Tour 2024.
In his live report for Hot Press, Pat Carty praised their 2022 show at the 3Arena as "a celebration of music that ‘big’ seems too small an appellation for."
"Heart-warming and foot-stomping, it would be fairly churlish to be asking for anything more," he added.
The UK and Ireland leg of the 2024 tour will kick off at Leeds First Direct Arena on March 15 – followed by eight more UK shows, culminating in a hometown concert at Glasgow’s The OVO Hydro.

“Concerts are the life blood of Simple Minds, it’s where we and our audience come alive and energised through music," comments Jim Kerr. "Four decades on from when we first set out, this global tour will demonstrate that Simple Minds are still alive and kicking!”
