Sinéad O’Connor just debuted her first single in over four years along with a promise for a brand new album to follow.
After struggling with mental health issues recently, O’Connor is back to making music. This morning’s radio debut of the single, ‘Milestones’, is just a demo to excite her fans about her upcoming work. She doesn’t expect her the new album, called No Mud No Lotus, to be released until at least October of 2019.

The new demo was produced by Northern Irish electronic musician and composer David Holmes. The two met after O'Connor performed at English singer Shane Macgowan’s birthday show, where Holmes invited her to record up in Belfast. O’Connor says she plans on writing and collaborating with numerous artists and producers for the upcoming record. ‘Milestones’ marks her newest music since her album I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss in 2014.
