Hot on the heels of some of their most successful ventures, Stomptown Brass returns with their punchiest single yet.
Having emerged as one of the most unique live acts in Ireland, funk band Stomptown Brass are back today with a fresh single. The eight-piece are premiering their latest floor filler ‘One Last Time,’ which is accompanied by an impressive animated music video. They're also in the midst of a triumphant country-spanning tour, which is set to hit Limerick and Dublin in early November.
'One Last Time' is Stomptown Brass' punchiest work yet, featuring the band's signature blend of funk and blues with a raucous cacophony of powerful driving rhythms. The song not only captures the band’s infectious energy but brings out a darker, more texture-driven groove. Stomptown has successfully delivered us the brass soundtrack of the year.
On top of this, the music video is a surreal adventure. Working in collaboration with Javier Longobardo, freelance artist and animator from Granada, Spain, the video has already been shortlisted for awards at the New York Independent Film Festival, the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, Mexico’s Cut Out Festival and the Oviclip Festival in Asturias.
Since their inception in 2015, Stomptown Brass have thrilled audiences across Ireland and abroad. Through numerous festival appearances and themed shows, they have built and maintained their status as one of the country’s most unique and dynamic ensemble acts.
