One of a family 22 children, Sir the Baptist had a penchant for playing music at a young age but only started his career as a recording artist a few years ago while in his mid-20s. The hip-hop and R&B act quickly made up for lost time, releasing the single 'Raise Hell' which hit No. 1 on Spotify's Viral 50 and has amassed millions of streams to-date. His 2017 song 'Heaven' also performed well, reaching a top 20 position on the Billboard charts. The self-described "hip-hop chaplain", he draws on the inspiration of his own life experiences to take about pertinent issues to a range of communities including LGBTQ and religious people around the world.
Partnering him is the decorated gospel singer, songwriter and record producer Donald Lawrence. Formerly the Minister of Music at a baptist church, he has a Grammy (for Best Traditional Gospel Album) and several Stellar awards to his name, as well as having previously collaborated with the likes of Mary J Blige and worked as a vocal coach for the group En Vogue.

Having previously worked together on several tracks, the pair have joined forces to create their Church in the Wild experience, where traditional gospel meets hip-hop and R&B infused elements.
