“I can’t believe we threw a rave at Madison Square Garden,” the dubstep and electronic artists said.
On Saturday (18th February) DJ and producer Skrillex played a five hour long gig at Madison Square Garden alongside his friends and artists Four Tet and Fred Again..
The LA-based musician celebrated the release of his second full-length studio album Quest For Fire at the major event, following their surprise rave in Times Square.
“I can’t believe we threw a rave at Madison Square Garden,” the EDM act tells the crowd, in the middle of the five-hour-long set.
“This is a very special night,” he adds, breathlessly. “It will never happen again.”
With a school bus-sound-system, the DJs played in front of thousands of people at Times Square, but the bigger surprises happened during the gig at the trio's MSG show. In the middle of the event Skrillex shared another featured-heavy album titled Don't Get Too Close.

Quest For Fire has been highly anticipated by the fans since Skrillex's last album, Recess was released almost a decade ago in 2014. The new album was released on February 17th and features artists like Fred Again.., Swae Lee, Missy Elliot, and Noisia.
Just a day after the release of Quest for Fire, Skrillex unveiled the album Don‘t Get Too Close, which also comes with a range of features like Pink Pantheress, Kid Cudi, and Justin Bieber.
As the EDM duo Jack Ü, Skrillex and DJ Diplo released a bunch of music, including the hit song 'Where Are Ü Now' with Justin Bieber. The artists have been friends for a long time and worked together on projects.
Towards the end of the five hour performance Skrillex said: “We can have this moment right now and just love each other and appreciate the differences in each other and love each other for the different parts."
“Fred, Kieran and I are all from different backgrounds, but somehow we made it on the stage at MSG with all you people,“ the artist added.
