"The music tells me where to go, and right now it’s telling me to go home," said Skull the Pierre. "Home to Hip-Hop."
Dublin-based hip hop artist Skull the Pierre has released a new single 'WHOLEHEARTEDLY', following an offer from his landlord of two months' rent-free accommodation.
The artist recently posted a viral social media video where he discussed the difficulties in balancing his 9-to-5 job with his aspirations of pursuing music full-time.
"I was facing the tough decision of potentially moving back to my native Sweden to live rent-free so I could dedicate myself entirely to my art," said Skull the Pierre.
"However, in a remarkable act of kindness, my Dublin landlord, Stephen, offered me two months of rent-free accommodation, allowing me to remain in the city I love and continue building my music career here."

Marking Skull the Pierre's return to hip hop after years of exploring different genres, 'WHOLEHEARTEDLY' is the first single from his upcoming EP, set for release in October.
"The music tells me where to go, and right now it’s telling me to go home," said the artist on his latest single. "Home to Hip-Hop."
A self-confronting track, 'WHOLEHEARTEDLY' showcases Skull the Pierre's skills as both MC and producer. The song's vinyl crackle-infused, nostalgic sound has been inspired by Biggie's 'Juicy'.
Born in Sweden and of Colombian descent, Skull the Pierre is known for his honest lyrics and his genre-blurring sound. His recent releases include the album MANC (2024), and the single 'simple songs for complex days', released last February.
