Iconic Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is set to hit Dublin's 3Arena next Spring, alongside Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators — as part of their The River is Rising Tour.
Following the release of the group's lauded 4th studio record 4 — which debuted at #1 on Most-Selling Hard Rock Album — the band are gearing up for a massive arena tour, with dates throughout Europe, South America and Asia.
4 was Slash's fifth solo effort and fourth overall with his band featuring Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass, vocals) and Frank Sidoris (guitar, vocals).
Travelling across the States to Nashville, Tennessee, the group set to work recording 4 at the historic RCA Studio A, collaborating with Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Brandi Carlile). Working towards a raw new sound, the band layed the tracks live in-studio, including guitar solos and vocals — a first for the group.
Set to stop off at Dublin on the 28th of March, the show is sure to be a high-octane display of hard rock excellence; as the band careen through electrifying new hits like ‘Fall Back to Earth,' ‘Actions Speak Louder Than Words’ and lead single, ‘The River Is Rising,’ with Wolfgang Van Halen's band Mammoth WVH as supports.
