Whoop, whoop! An up-and-coming Dublin producer has unleashed a cracking new long-player.
Get ready Ireland. Dublin producer Detboi is back with an album sure to make floors slide and walls bounce! Sliding Floors is the new 14-track LP landing February 25 on Cheap Thrills. The album is full of dark, bassy beats that will no doubt leave us gasping from exhaustion – in a good way! Detboi has mega champs Fatboy Slim, Annie Mac, Sinden and A–Track in his corner. In Galway, the Factory venue is celebrating its first birthday! It is home to Epoch Galway: a club night that has been doing a fine job bringing you some hot parties! The next hot ticket is DJ and producer Levon Vincent! In the coming months this Berlin resident New Yorker will have some new material dropping on his label, Novel Sound, along with appearances at Dimensions, Pleasure Principle, Lente Kabinet and Eastern Electrics.

DSNT Records are on a mission to bring you the hottest techno! The Belfast label’s second output comes from Paul Carroll. aka Dead Sound, a producer from Stoke–on–Trent, England. He’s lined up previous releases with producer Videohead, on Ali Wells, Perc Trax Imprint, along with further outputs on Australia’s Elektrax Recordings, Gynold Audio, Belfast’s Acroplane Records and Counter Pulse. Next up is his Freeze EP, consisting of five heavy techno tracks out on both vinyl and digital. Woop! To complete the package there’s some stellar mixes by Xhin, Exlum and Monster X. We love seeing homegrown labels pump out releases, and that’s exactly what is happening at Dublin’s Swink Music. About to land is Underground Unit by EP producers Nick Beringer and Kid Mark, complete with mixes by Fabio Monesi and Manuel Regnet. They’ve also just teamed up with EProm, holding a first label showcase with Swink Music Records Vs Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! Records. The event takes place Belfast February 22 at Bunatee with sets by Malin Genie, Anil Aras, Max Conte, Street Knowledge, Banjax, Sean McAllister and Doc Patrikk. Swink has launched a new website too.
