With their new album, 5: The Gray Chapter set for release this Friday, the good news just keeps coming for fans of Slipknot.

This morning, the Iowa collective announced plans to bring their tour - the charmingly titled 'Prepare for Hell' - to Dublin early next year. 3Arena will play host on January 14.

Not only that, but support will be supplied by another of the great American metal outfits of recent times, Korn.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, priced at €59.50.
