UK rapper slowthai has shared a cover of Elliott Smith's 1995 tune 'Needle In The Hay', via an Apple Music Home Session. He also did 'adhd', his own song from his most recent release, TYRON.

The track is originally from Smith's self-titled LP, which also includes 'Clementine' and 'St. Ides Heaven'. “The lyrics to both tracks mean a lot to me,” slowthai told Apple Music. “‘adhd’ because I feel it’s inward-facing and ‘Needle in the Hay’ because that song got me through a lot of down days.”

In the Hot Press review of TYRON, writer Kate Brayden called the record "an incredibly exciting effort, confirming Slowthai’s status as a major artist."
