The Smirnoff Stage is designed with inclusivity and accessibility at its core, with both daytime and evening programmes dedicated to celebrating together through music...
All of the key features at the Smirnoff Stage – which you'll find at Electric Picnic from August 16-18 – are designed with a big focus on inclusivity and accessibility. Recognising that the party always rocks harder when everyone can get involved, Smirnoff have created a space in which all performers and festival-goers can get together and spark connections – without exclusionary barriers getting in the way.
The top deck of the bar can be reached through a wheelchair accessible lift, while lowered bar counters have been designed with ease and social connection in mind. There’s also sign language interpreters, accessibility ramps, braille drink menus, and available earbuds – all ensuring that the epic experiences at the area can be enjoyed and accessed by everyone.
For added convenience, there’ll also be Smirnoff Inclusivity Champions in the area to help out festival-goers across the weekend.
Smirnoff is putting inclusivity at the heart of their Electric Picnic presence in other ways too – with a particularly strong emphasis on celebrating artists of diverse and traditionally under-represented backgrounds.
Whether they’re incorporating the sounds of their country of origin, or taking underground ideas to major festival stages, the artists on the Smirnoff Stage at EP are sharing their unique experiences and perspectives with the world through their music – and having plenty of fun while they’re doing it.
