It's the first new music from the Maryland singer since having to reschedule her tour last year.
Snail Mail has released a special demo version of her song 'Adore You' for Valentine's Day.
Lindsey Jordan's last album, Valentine, featured the full, fleshed-out version of the tune, with the demo providing a more lo-fi feeling.
It's the first new music from Snail Mail since she announced that she had to reschedule her tour due to vocal cord surgery last year.
"I’ve been struggling with my vocal health more and more each year. I lose my voice after a couple days of singing. I went to see an ENT last week and they found massive polyps in my vocal cords (surprisingly from vocal trauma due to talking!! shocker lol) that need to be operated on to prevent permanent damage to my voice," she explained at the time.
The dates were in support of her aforementioned second album, which she discussed with Hot Press back in November.
"It’s absolutely a heartbreak record,” she said. Lush, her 2018 debut, was hopeful and innocent, she feels. Valentine is something else – the storm after the calm.

“A lot of Lush is yearning. The feelings on Valentine are based much more on experience. It’s about experiencing love and losing it, and seeing the difference between what it is like to imagine adult life and what it is to live through it.”
