He took to Facebook last night to introduce Harakiri.
In a message to fans, System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian said that he was "super excited" to introduce his third solo album, Harakiri, which he called "an infectious celebration of our collective unconscious suicide".
He said his message was as important as his music, and urged people to view and share the politically charged video of the album's title track, 'Harakiri'.
The video includes statistics of death and destruction, as well as quotes from high-profile thinkers like French existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, who warned that "man is fully responsible for his nature and his choices".

On July 2, Tankian had already offered an exclusive first listen to the full album through his Facebook page, which was brought to Irish fans by Tattoo TV in conjunction with Warner Music Ireland.
