Touted by basically everyone as a potential world-beater, Derry’s SOAK takes another step towards big things. The tune is stripped-back with an emotive, haunting vocal and, although Bridie Monds-Watson is far from the finished article, I’m enjoying her journey thus far. We have no idea what’s with the weird spelling, though.
