Club Loosen was created by Paul Walsh, with Saturday's event featuring DJ sets from R.Kitt, Marcus O'Laoire and minikimono.
A sober rave is coming to Dublin this month so that the capital's residents can experience the atmosphere of a club scene without the use of drugs or alcohol.
Scheduled to take place in The Complex arts centre in Smithfield, Club Loosen is taking over with a lineup of DJs on April 8 for a rave like no other.
The event will be "fun ravey-vibe energy for people that want to enjoy themselves without using drugs or alcohol."
Irish DJ Sinead Bailey Kelly (aka minikimono) will be kicking off the rave with her set playing from 7 to 8pm. Marcus O Laoire will be on from 8 to 9pm and R.Kitt will be closing the show playing from 9 to 10pm.
Although the rave is advertised as a sober event, organisers have also put out this disclaimer: "the party isn’t anti-substance use in general, it understands they can be fun and freeing, however this event wants to promote rave energy without the need for alcohol/drugs."

"When you are in your bedroom dancing to a song you love, you aren’t concerned about how you dance. Movement just happens and unfolds out of you — if there is a goal, that’s it," Club Loosen organisers explained on Instagram.
Tickets are €20 for over 18s only, and can be bought on Eventbrite.
