An exciting new selection of acts have been announced for this year's The Great Escape Online – taking place virtually from May 13th to 14th. In addition to the previously announced line-up – which included Tebi Rex – you can now also look forward to appearances from The Zen Arcade, Smoothboi Ezra, Alex Gough, Soda Blonde, MELTS, Dani Larkin, New Pagans, CHERYM, Conchúr White, Aby Coulibaly, Hazey Haze, Robert Grace, Monjola, Sinead O'Brien, SPRINTS and Strange Boy.

Also joining the line-up are BBC Sound of 2021 runner-up Holly Humberstone, indie-pop rising-star Alfie Templeman, and more.

Back in February, the showcase festival – usually based in Brighton – announced that it had cancelled its 2021 in-person event, with a virtual festival set to take its place.

The Great Escape plans to return with a full-scale festival in Brighton in May 2022.
