Richardson has nowhere to go but up. The gig announcement comes after her dazzling performance at this year's All Together Now, and the artist has packed out venues across both Europe and the US. Along with a series of headline shows, she's supported some of the biggest names in the indie world such as James Vincent McMorrow and Villagers, and her music has appeared in several films.
The success of her award-winning debut album Bravery indicated she was on the path to stardom, only confirmed by last year's follow-up long-player Smiling Like an Idiot. The record, written in Sorcha's late grandparents' house and recorded in Dublin, examines the "moments in life that you don’t want to have to go through", while still remaining optimistic that despite everything, things will eventually work out for the best.

She was Choice-nominated for both records and Smiling Like an Idiot even went to No. 1 in the Irish Independent Charts. Already well-established in her own right, Richardson then found an international audience when global pop star Ellie Goulding covered her song 'Shark Eyes' and praised the song on social media.
The performance at the National Concert Hall is set to be a cornerstone for the artist, and the performance is sure to be one not to miss.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday 18th August at 10am. Tickets will be €24, with a 10% Discount for Friends of NCH and groups of 10 or more.
