The evening showcases established and up-and-comng 21st century Irish songwriters.
The National Concert Hall have announced the lineup for the upcoming instalment of Imagining Ireland.
Taking to the stage at the city centre venue on Sunday March 3, 2024, are Sorcha Richardson, Ye Vagabonds, Susan O’Neill, Rachael Lavelle, Aby Coulibaly and MOIO.
Sorcha Richardson performs following her No.1 Independent Irish album Smiling Like An Idiot, a successful U.S. and European tour as well as a rendition of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Shark Eyes’.
Winners of Best Album at the 2022 RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards for their Nine Waves LP, acclaimed duo Ye Vagabonds collaborated with international superstars Boygenius with a rendition of ‘The Parting Glass’, in a charity tribute to Sinéad O’Connor.
Susan O’Neill has long been making a name for herself on the Irish circuit. Renowned for her free-spirited performances and unmistakable voice, she’s also a regular collaborator with fellow accomplished songwriter Mick Flannery, with the duo pairing up on the 2021 record In The Game.

Elsewhere, Rachael Lavelle capitated audiences late last year with her debut coming-of-age album Big Dreams. Chamomile Club’s Aby Coulibaly and MOIO had busy years, the former releasing her debut mixtape in October while her longtime producer took his first steps as a solo artist with a steady stream of singles.
