In the run-up to the 40th anniversary performance of The Pogues' Red Roses For Me at Dublin's 3Arena on December 17, the star-studded line-up of special guests has been announced.
The Dublin gig follows the lauded performance of the classic album in London's Hackney Empire back in May – with many of the same band members and special guests from that show set to return for the 3Arena edition.
The Dublin line-up includes:
- Grian Chatten and Tom Coll from Fontaines D.C.
- Nadine Shah
- John Francis Flynn
- Ian and Daragh Lynch from Lankum
- Junior Brother
- Kojaque
- Iona Zajac
- Stick In The Wheel
- Plus more special guests to be announced

Recreating the band's iconic sound alongside Spider Stacy on the night are are Jordan O’Leary from The Scratch, Alfi’s Fiachra Meek, Goat Girl's Holly Mullineaux, Bad Seeds Jim Sclavunos and George Vjestica, Pretender and Pogue James Walbourne, and Pogues founding members Jem Finer and James Fearnley.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Red Roses For Me – which was originally released in October 1984 – The Pogues are also set to reissue the album on red recycled vinyl, and on CD, on October 18.
