RTÉ Concert Orchestra and Aiken Promotions are revealing the first round of special guest announcements for RTÉ Concert Orchestra's performance of the songs of Leonard Cohen. The event is set to be live at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, March 4th and 5th, 2020.

The first wave of special guests is Lisa Hannigan, Mick Flannery, Suzanne Savage and Phelim Drew and more to be announced. Each an acclaimed Irish musician, they will beautifully reinterpret Cohen's work on the elegant stage.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra is a world-class ensemble that serves its audience, symbolising the diverse eclectic mix of orchestral entertainment. Since 1948, the orchestra has taken part in a diverse catalogue of performances including momentous, goosebump-inducing occasions.

Leonard Cohen, who rose to fame in the late '60s with a series of brilliant poetry infused folk records. He would go on to write iconic songs like 'Famous Blue Raincoat' and 'Hallelujah,' made even more well-known thanks Jeff Buckley's cover. His music is some of the most revered in all of the folk canon.
