Spotify Will Let Users Block Artists Soon
Beta testers have been able to access a feature on the app that lets them block artists.
Spotify users will most likely soon be able to use the "don't play this artist" feature, which effectively blocks artists so that their music will not play on playlists, chart lists, music libraries and radio stations.
In 2017, Spotify decided that they would not allow a block feature, but following sexual, mental and physical abuse allegations against the singer R. Kelly and ensuing fallout, the streaming service will allow users to block artists.

Spotify is yet to make any official statement about the feature's release date, let alone acknowledge its existence, but beta testers have been able to access it, Thurrott reports.
