Springsteen's series of sold-out shows kick off tonight at Dublin's RDS Arena.
The Boss was spotted yesterday evening at The Burrow in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, grabbing a drink as he chatted with locals, and led an a cappella performance of 'My Hometown'. The New Jersey singer’s song choice was very fitting given his ancestral roots in Rathangan.
The moment was captured by one of the pub's patrons, with the special moment shared on Instagram.

During his Dublin trip, the 73-year-old rocker also paid Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan a visit.
Irish-indie band Cronin's, Michael Cronin, was also in attendance of the two musical legends' encounter, with the band's frontman explaining how the two musicians had “great chats about songwriting, children, health, diet, Irish, [and] his Irish roots.”

Cronin also disclosed that he had exchanged some rough mixes with Springsteen from an album Cronin and MacGowan have been working on.
Following his three sold-out shows in Dublin, Springsteen and his E Street Band's tour will take them to France, where they will play two nights in Paris' La Defense Arena.
