Noughties indie-dance-rockers Gossip have today announced special guests for their upcoming summer show at The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.
On 27th August, Irish garage-punk outfit Sprints and New York new-wave trip Nation of Language will support Gossip at Collins Barracks.
Over the past three years, Dublin's four-member band Sprints has risen in prominence, channeling pain into truth, passion into purpose, and perseverance into strength. They've garnered recognition for their compelling live performances, supporting esteemed acts such as Yard Act and Suede, while also releasing two highly praised EPs along the way.

Sprints' latest release, their debut album Letter To Self, marks a significant evolution in their sound. Delving into a space of vulnerability and honesty, they infuse their visceral garage-punk with a tangible sense of catharsis, showcasing a new level of depth and sonic prowess.
Nation of Language, a trio hailing from NYC, has garnered a swiftly expanding global fanbase with their dynamic fusion of new wave, post-punk, and shoegaze styles.
Since the release of their acclaimed debut album Introduction, Presence four years ago, their 2021 follow-up A Way Forward has propelled them into broader recognition. This newfound exposure led to their late-night television debut and a series of sold-out tours, solidifying their status in the music scene.
On 22 March, Gossip returns with their first album since 2012, titled Real Power. Beth Ditto, Nathan Howdeshell, and Hannah Blilie reunite with renowned producer Rick Rubin, known for his work on their 2009 record Music For Men. The new album signifies a triumphant comeback, celebrating the catharsis of artistic self-expression and the resilience of chosen family amidst both collective and individual trauma.
