Formed in 2019 by Karla Chubb, guitarist Colm O’Reilly and drummer Jack Callan, the band recruited bass player Sam McCann for their first show February that same year.
The band posted to Instagram yesterday, hinting at the album announcement.
“This is the beginning of a most honest era. This is the self on a page, this is the experience, the inner monologue, the shadows of doubt that creep in corners during nights of restlessness and solitude. This is years of love, loss, passion, discovery, creativity. It’s anger, it’s happiness, it’s rage and ecstasy, it’s the full embracing of each other and who we are - and accepting it,” said the post.
The band play a sold-out show in Dublin’s Button Factory this October. They will return to the Temple venue on 3 May 2024.
They have also announced dates for Belfast, Galway, Listowel, Cork and Limerick in April 2024. For more information on tour dates and the new album visit www.sprintsmusic.com.
