The SSE Arena Belfast has renewed its partnership with Ticketmaster, celebrating 25 years of working together.

Since its grand opening in 2000, the Arena has been Northern Ireland’s leading venue for the big live indoor events, consistently leading the way in technology and fan experience.

"As one of the UK and Ireland’s first arenas to go completely 100% digital,” one industry insider told Hot Press, "the SSE Arena has set the benchmark in adopting cutting-edge technology, including utilising Ticketmaster’s SafeTix."

These features aim to ensure secure, contactless entry through NFC passes via Apple and Google Wallet, and also support the Arena’s commitment to a fully sustainable future.

On an environmental note, SSE Arena has recently announced it is now eliminating single-use plastic cups, underlining its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
