The new single comes as the second advance release from St. Vincent’s upcoming album All Born Screaming.
American songstress St. Vincent is back with a fiery resolve on her latest track ‘Flea,’ the second advance offering from her swiftly approaching seventh studio album All Born Screaming, out April 26.
The amalgamation of raw desire and pure emotion, ‘Flea’ features St. Vincent, a.k.a. Annie Clark, at her best, delivering fierce vocals atop a bed of thundering grooves and searing guitar figures, as produced by musicians Dave Grohl and Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
Accompanied by a lyric video complete with exclusive behind the scenes footage from the album recording sessions, ‘Flea’ ushers St. Vincent into a new era, tackling another emotional trek in the wake of its predecessor ‘Broken Man', currently in its second week at No. 1 Most Added Song at Alternative Radio.
St. Vincent’s first self-produced record, All Born Screaming is an album filled with exploration and self-discovery, testing the limits of possibility and then pushing beyond. Mixed by Cian Riordan, the new record is an unadulterated expression of St. Vincent’s unique artistic vision.
