Billboard chart-topping artists Staind have announced that they will perform a gig at Dublin's Academy on January 19

The band, originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, have recently released their sixth album, The Illusion Of Progress, which they note as their "most musical CD" yet.

The album was produced by Groovemaster Recording Studios' Johnny K, who has also worked with the likes of the Plain White T’s, Kill Hannah and Disturbed.

Tickets, €29.50, go on sale this Friday, October 24.
