It's another week atop the Album Chart for Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born Soundtrack
Irish audiences can't get enough of the blockbuster soundtrack A Star is Born as it takes the top spot on the Irish charts for the sixth consecutive week. It marks Lady Gaga’s longest tenure at Number one, surpassing the five non-consecutive weeks that The Fame/The Fame Monster managed across 2010 and 2011.
Elsewhere on the chart, Muse is the highest new entry with Simulation Theory at number five. The 50th anniversary reissue of The Beatles self-titled album enters at number seven. Olly Murs is at number 10 with You Know I know. Imagine Dragons’ fourth record Origins is just outside the top 10 at number 11. Unsurprisingly, Michael Buble’s Christmas rises 18 placings to 22.
Ariana Grande's single 'Thank U, Next' stays at Number one for the second week in a row on the Singles Chart. Followed closely by 'Shallow' from A Star is Born, and 'Woman Like Me (ft. Nicki Minaj)' from Little Mix's latest album LM5.
Halsey’s 'Without Me' was also popular with the Irish public this week, lifting four places to Number five, her first Top five appearance as a lead artist.
Eight tracks in this week’s Top 10 feature female artists, with two leading ladies entering the top flight for the first time. 'Sweet But Psycho' by Ava Max rockets to Number eight, while Billie Eilish climbs seven rungs to Number 10 with 'When The Party’s Over'.
