Don Mescall is set to release a brand-new album. And Hot Press has confirmed that there is a star-studded list of guest contributors, on what promises to be a very special outing indeed.

The names of the guests on the album – working title Lighthouse Keeper – are being kept under wraps, as the final touches are put to the record, but we can promise that some of the most prestigious names in Irish music are involved.

That’s hardly a surprise. Mescall is one of Ireland’s most successful songwriters, with tracks featuring his work having achieved sales of over 12 million records worldwide.

His songs – which have been recorded by artists as diverse as Rascal Flatts, Clay Aiken, Backstreet Boys, Lonestar, Ronan Keating, Boyzone, Jaydee Bixby, Ramin Karimloo, Sharon Corr, Aslan, Garou, Geri Halliwell, Neal McCoy, Shane Filan & Nicky Byrne (Westlife), triple platinum French artist Marina Kaye, Richie Havens and many more – have currently received in excess of 18 million hits on You Tube.

Don also co-wrote the last three No.1 hits for country superstar and TV presenter, Nathan Carter.

In addition to his songwriting success, performing live is a hugely important aspect of Don Mescall's career. He regularly tours in Ireland and the UK and plans a major autumn jaunt in support of the album.

Lighthouse Keeper is scheduled to hit the shelves in Autumn 2018 and will be available both digitally and on CD.
