From astronauts and actors to musicians and journalists, tributes to the departed Starman are flying in from all over the world
The world has been reacting to the tragic death of David Bowie.
The legendary artist passed away after an 18 month battle with cancer. The heartbreaking news comes just days after the singer released a brand new album, entitled Blackstar, on Fri 8, to coincide with his 69th birthday.
Tributes have poured in from artists around the world. Ricky Gervais, Foo Fighters, Madonna, Debbie Harry, Peter Gabriel and Cher have all posted loving messages to The Thin White Duke. And in possibly the most fitting tribute to Ziggy Stardust, British astronaut Tim Peake, tweeted his condolences from the International Space Station.
