The Northern Irish music festival has moved its dates from mid-August to June 30-July 2, 2022.
Stendhal Festival has announced their summer 2022 dates.
In 2021, the festival's organisers hosted two successful Covid-compliant festivals – one in July and one in August. Following government guidelines and social distancing protocols, the events successfully allowed audiences to listen to live music at Ballymully Cottage Farm in Limavady, Northern Ireland.
Ross Parkhill, the Stendhal Festival's director, said that "both events in 2021 went off really well and people really worked incredibly well with us in order to ensure that was the case."
For the next year, however, they are attempting to return to a single festival.
"Going forward though, to continue with the model of two smaller events would not be practical for us and we are confident that people are a bit more confident themselves now about returning to large scale outdoor gigs, as witnessed at a number of events in Belfast through September," said Parkhill.

"With that in mind, with the eradication of social distancing rules for outdoor spaces and with plenty of lessons learned from our events in 2021," he continued, "we are confident that we can return to our usual event set up in 2022 and safely welcome over 10,000 patrons to the farm once again."
Rather than hosting the event during their usual time frame in August, it has been moved up to June 30-July 2. Parkhill assured that despite moving the event forward 6 weeks, they don't have any major uncertainties about its likelihood of running, explaining that attendees can "expect us to have plenty of info regarding Stendhal 2022 out early in the new year, when we will also be opening our annual artists submission process."
Early bird tickets will be available from October 29 at 1pm to January 5.
