The multi-award winning festival will welcome the band Hot Chip and Heather Small at Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady on 4th - 6th July.
This morning, Stendhal Festival announces the first selection of musical acts of its 2024 edition. It includes Brit Awards, Mercury Prize and RTÉ Folk Award winners, across a wide variety of genres and styles.
The Grammy Award nominated band Hot Chip are heading up the first wave of announcements. After seven albums and a great number of mixes, they will be bringing their famous DJ set show to the Karma Valley stage on Saturday 6th July. Following them will be the two times Brit Awards winner Heather Small, set to play on that same stage on Friday 5th.
Also playing on Friday 5th is The Orb, widely considered to be one of the primary bands of the acid house revolution of the late eighties and early nineties. The band Gomez, a pioneer of Britpop, will be taking the stage of the festival on the 6th to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their albums Bring it on and Liquid Skin as well as their Mercury Music Prize win.

“We are so pleased to announce all the acts that we have secured so far”, says festival director Ross Parkhill. “A lot of these acts have not only enjoyed major critical and chart success but they are also performers with some big tunes that can get everyone singing along and help manifest the very special atmosphere Stendhal has become renowned for.”
