Stendhal Festival is open to platforming "musicians, bands, comedians, dancers, poets, workshop faciliators...magicians, mimes, clowns, lion tamers, theatre companies and everything and anything in between."
Stendhal Festival has opened applications for their annual performance competition.
The contest will remain open until February 14, and welcomes a variety of Irish acts such as “musicians, comedians, poets, family performers and artists from as many disciplines as possible.” The winner will perform on one of the festival’s eight stages.
Located at Ballymully Cottage Farm in Northern Ireland, 2025 marks the 15th year of the event. The festival will be held from July 4 to July 6.
“We have already had a lot of inquiries with regards to acts getting on the bill this year so now is your chance to make it happen,” said Event Director Ross Parkhill, “but please get your submissions in before February the 14th because any applications received after this date will not be considered for 2025.”
Parkhill recalls discovering artists like Ryan McMullan, Soak and JC Stewart through their past submissions.

“We love to see as wide a variety of acts apply as possible, from acts that have just started up to more established acts who haven’t played the festival yet, even acts that have played before and want to come back, we want to hear from everyone and anyone that can make our programme as good as it possibly can be,” he continued.
Early bird tickets are now available for sale, and the lineup has yet to be announced.
