After allowing Miley Cyrus to sample 'Edge of Seventeen' on her latest single 'Midnight Sky', released back in August, Stevie Nicks has teamed up with the pop star for a new remix of the single, entitled 'Edge of Midnight'.
'Midnight Sky' is the lead single from Cyrus' highly anticipated seventh studio album, Plastic Hearts – set to be released on November 27. Around the time of the single's release, Cyrus revealed that she reached out to Nicks for her blessing.
"I sent her the song and I said, 'I have an alternative melody, if you don't want me to kind of like pay tribute to you and your greatness and how much you've inspired me'," she recalled. "And she said, 'You can borrow from me anytime'."
Last month, Nicks shared 'Show Them The Way' – her first solo single in six years. With references to JFK and Martin Luther King Jr., she described the songs "as a prayer – a prayer for our country – a prayer for our world".

In the run up to the release of Plastic Hearts, Cyrus has also kept busy – with a rendition of The Cranberries' 'Zombie' for the virtual #SaveOurStages Fest going viral, and even earning the approval of the Irish band.
