He’ll be bringing his tour Into The Punset to Ireland across 2018 and 2019
Canadian comedian Stewart Francis will play a number of shows in Ireland as part of his farewell tour.
Francis, who has gained popularity in Ireland and the UK thanks to his appearances on ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Live at The Apollo’ and ‘Crackerjack’, will be bringing his tour Into The Punset to Galway, Belfast, Cork and Limerick in 2019.
Into The Punset will be a chance for fans to say goodbye to the 59-year old as he will be drawing an end to his career as a comedian. For many years he has stated his desire to pursue other interests, in particular his dream of becoming a syndicated cartoonist.
Known for his deadpan delivery and one-liners, Francis was on the receiving end of ‘Funniest Joke of the Fringe’ in 2012 for his this:
“You know who really gives kids a bad name? Posh and Becks”.
Stewart Francis had previously announced that he would be playing a gig in Vicar Street on 17 November 2018, which is part of the first leg of his farewell tour.
