The punk band's longevity knows no bounds.
Now into their fifth decade of consistent output, UK punk scene stalwarts The Stranglers are coming back in 2019 with their 19-date 'Back on the Tracks' UK & Ireland tour. The full list of dates and venues are laid out below.
They're be kicking off their newest excursion on these shores in Belfast on the 28th of February, as they headline the Ulster Hall after a sold out show in the city last year. They'll be joined by special guest Dr. Feelgood, with the rhythm and blues band will be providing support throughout their 2019 dates.
The following day they'll be heading down to the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Makers of some of the most defining, still relevant hits of the first wave of British punk with the likes of ‘Golden Brown’ and ‘No More Heroes’, The Stranglers have also spent much of their restless last year on tour of the Southern Hemisphere, Europe and the UK writing and rehearsing new material, so lucky attendees will be able to take in some of these new cuts on top of the existing classics.
Tickets for The Stranglers at the Ulster Hall and the Olympia (plus all remaining tour dates) go on sale from this Friday the 21st of September. Tickets for the former are priced at £33 including booking fee, while the latter are from €36.50 and are available at 9am from Ticketmaster.
