It's the second single off their upcoming album, The New Abnormal , out in April.
The Strokes have released a new single titled 'Bad Decisions'. It's their second single off upcoming album The New Abnormal and follows last week's 'At The Door'.
'Bad Decisions' sees the New York rockers returning to a more familiar sound than the synth-heavy 'At The Door'. It's full of the catchy riffs that long-time Strokes fans will love, along with some new wave-esque guitars throughout the verses. The song made its live debut last week at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire.
It's accompanied by a music video that feels straight out of a 1970's television. The video is extremely on the nose -- 'Bad Decisions' has a nostalgic feel to it, reminscent of Billy Idol's iconic 1981 new wave/post punk hit 'Dancing With Myself'.
The New Abnormal is the Strokes' first full-length since 2013's Comedown Machine and is set to be released on April 10. The band finally confirmed the release last week after hinting at a new album for a while.
