The annual celebration of Strummer takes place this Thursday, December 22 from 5pm onwards.
The annual celebration of the life of The Clash's co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist, Joe Strummer, is taking place this Thursday, December 22.
A special night for the 20th anniversary of the musician's death is set to rock Dublin, all in aid of Peter McVerry Trust.
In association with Puregenius and the Peter McVerry Trust homeless charity, The Grand Social hosts the annual 20th anniversary Strummer Night fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the charity.
From 5-7pm outside the Grand Social, El Clash Combo, The Dubtones, Absolute Beginners, and The Lee Harveys, plus special guests, will busk - followed by an after party in The Loft from 7pm 'til late.
There will be a ticketed raffle for excellent spot prizes across the night, as well.

The busk will be free, however it is recommended attendees of the after party make a 15-euro donation to the charity. Donations can be made at any time of the night to PMVT as well.
