The Strypes who broke up last year have roles in the upcoming film.
Ex-Strypes members Peter O'Hanlon and Evan Walsh walked the blue carpet at the Rocketman premier last night.
O'Hanlon and Walsh joined their former bandmates Josh McClorey and Ross Farrelly reunited on big screen with roles in the Elton John biopic.
So proud of clients @peteohanl0n & Evan Walsh who walked the blue carpet last night to see themselves on the big screen again. Go see this musical extravaganza. The Cavan lads took the world by storm back in the earlier half of the decade with performances on The Late Late Toy Show as well as over-seas on hosting legends David Letterman and Conan O'Brien's respective talk shows.
They recieved high praise from Elton John himself, who called them "the most exciting band in years" and signing them up to his management company.

In 2018, The Strypes announced that their time as a band had come to an end, thanking fans for everything and vowing to "see you all in the next cartoon".
Rocketman will hit Irish theatres on May 22.
